WOYWW – 182

Wow another week has gone by and its wednesday again, so that only means one thing, a snoop around other peoples desk in What’s on your workdesk wednesday. Julia over at the stamping ground lets us all peek at her desk each week and in return we can share ours. Why not pop over and join in the fun, you’ll soon come to love desk hopping on a Wednesday.
For those of you who have popped over to my desk before you will have noticed I have jumped ship from blogger and joined wordpress, I was having lots of problems with blogger so thought the best thing was to try out wordpress and see how I get on, so far so good, except I don’t think I can bring my followers with me 😦

Anyway what have I been up to this week and what is on my desk…

Well the weekend we had my beautiful daughter Poppy’s 3rd birthday so I spent all day Saturday making her cake, now cupcakes I can make but a big birthday cake that is a different story but I tried and this is how it came out, I know its not perfect but she loved it so I’m happy.

So needless to say my desk has been a little neglected this past week but I have got a little pile of cushions waiting to be sewn up and stuffed. I need to go and get some more stuffing so they have been piled up waiting for me to go. These are the latest cushions I have made.

Anyway I will post more pictures of the birthday over the coming week I’m off for a little desk hopping with a nice cuppa.

ps I’m hoping you will ‘like’ us and share us with your friends. [check out my blog for more info]

  2. What a beautiful cake and gorgeous birthday girl! I think this is such a wondrous age for both the child and the parents. My son’s 3 year old is driving him nuts but as I tell him it passes so fast to cherish the moments even the aggravating times. Chad is 36 soon to be 37 and life has just flown past! Thanks for visiting my desk and leaving such a nice comment. Have a great week! Vickie #3
